Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinsha Ruins Museum

In the early morning, pick up from your hotel and transfer to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is about 10 km from Chengdu downtown. This beautifully laid out park is the home of about 80 giant pandas and some other rare animals, such as red panda, black-necked crane, white crane ect. Walking along the excellently designed walkways, you could have a good angle through the open enclosures of giant pandas.

Have a Chinese lunch with traditional Hotpot at local restaurant. Then visit Jinsha Ruins Museum, which is the museum established in the Jinsha ruins site, and is also a museum to show categories of ancient Shu culture in Sichuan area during Shang and Zhou dynasty.

Drop off at your hotel in the downtown of Chengdu. At night you can enjoy a traditional Sichuan Opera as an optional activity at night (show time: 20:00-21:30).  

Drive to Leshan, Leshan Giant Buddha, Take a high speed train to Chongqing

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Mt. Leshan - has the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. You will take a cruise (about 30 min) to have an overview of this mountain and the Leshan Giant Buddha.

After lunch in a local Chinese restaurant, we drive directly to Chengdu railway station to take a high speed train to Chongqing. Check in your hotel and free of the rest time.

Chongqing Three Gorges Museum, Ancient Town of Ciqikou, Liziba station, Yangtze River Ropeway, Hongya Cave

After breakfast, you will take a city tour of Chongqing Three Gorges Museum - know more about Three Gorges culture, Ancient Town of Ciqikou - the ancient Chongqing city, Liziba Station , which is a famous subway station in Chongqing, China, whose view of subway crossing the building is popular on the Internet.

Try the Yangtze River Ropeway, which has become a representative project of the mountain city. Take the ropeway, slide to the other side of the river, all the way to see the steel forest, the Yangtze River and the scenery of the south bank area of the north river.  Hong Ya Cave is the best place to visit group of stilted buildings, appreciate Hongya Dicui, stroll mountain city old street, watch Ba-Yu culture, and taste delicious food, and it is also the Jiangbei lounge at the riverside area of the Yangtze River. At the end, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.
