The local guide pick you up from your hotel located in Xi'an downtown and drive to the first stop --- the world wonder Qin Terracotta Army directly for about 1.5 hours. The fine troops, horses and carriages in battle formation are a National ancient art treasure. Three excavation pits are now opened to the public and a fourth is nearing completion. The Terracotta Army was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as a world cultural heritage.


After the visit, it is about noon time. A lunch will be arranged at a fine-decorated restaurant on the way back to the downtown of Xi'an. In the afternoon, we will visit the Xi'an City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. You could choose to visit the City Wall by walking or bicycle riding. Then learn and practice Tai Chi Chuan with our professional Tai Chi teacher. Originating from the roots of classical Chinese culture, Tai Chi Chuan absorbed a variety of sources including the Book of Changes, Taoism and Buddhism. Many Chinese practice it every day to keep health. 


Then move to Muslim Quarter, a fantastic place in Xi'an to wander. Almost all shops and restaurants here are operated by Muslims. You will find the stalls flanking the narrow alleys sell almost everything you can imagine. A variety of Muslim food and snacks can be tried here, tasty and very cheap, including the locals' favorites, roasted beef, roasted fish, and pancakes.

The tour finishes by drop-off at your hotel lobby.
